| National Level Symposium VALORIZE ‘10 |

Citius (Faster), Altius (Higher), Fortius (Stronger) is the motto of the Olympics. The athletes from all over the world congregate once in four years at a predestinated venue to prove who the best amongst all is. In a similar manner a Technical Symposium titled Valorize-10 an event where the students from the MCA and Engineering Colleges are required to prove their academic, analytical and technical skills was organized by our MCA Department on 28th Jan 2010.
Around 200 students from 30 colleges in and around Coimbatore assembled to interact, participate and compete with one another.
The Event commenced with the registration .All our guests were awestruck by the Rangoli at the entrance of main lobby. The main piece of attraction was the collage of events attended by our students in different parts of the country and their interaction with the leading personalities like Sheila Dixit,Sam Pitroda,Montek Singh and Mr.Anand Sharma.
Most of the students from the colleges were highly impressed by the exposure given to our students but found difficult to digest, that these events were sponsored by the Management.
Mr.M.Barani Premanand, CEO of Virtual America, was the chief guest at the inaugural function. The Chairman Commander K.Velu impressed on the need for awareness and focus on their interest in his address. He wished all the participants the very best in the Competition.
The main events and the winners in the Symposium were:
- DEBUGGING
- QUIZ
- PAPER PRESENTATION
The winners were awarded Rs.2000/ each while the runner up were awarded cash price of Rs.1000/-

The Highlights of the events were:
- Excellent opportunity for students from all the colleges to interact and learn from each other.
- The entire program was planned, organized and executed by our students under the guidance of the Staff from our MCA Department.
- Many of the Corporate stepped forward to sponsor the events .Our presence in a short span of three years has been recognized by them.
- A token amount Rs.250 was charged as the registration fee, this was to ensure that the participations were genuine but at the end of the event the registration fee with an additional amount Rs.50 was returned to the teams.
- Free lunch, tea, snacks were served to all including the audience.
- All the teams were photographed in then respective groups and the photos dispatched to their respective Colleges.
Mr.T.R.Vijay Anand, CEO of S16 Technologies India Pvt Ltd was the Chief Guest at the valedictory function. The winners were felicitated and the curtains of the symposium were drawn with the National Anthem. Compliments to Ms.Subba, HOD, and her team for an excellent symposium. We thank the Chairman and the Secretary for their support and guidance. Let us meet once again at Valorize-11
