The Institute is the brainchild
of Commander K.Velu. After his BE (Mech) from Madras University and M.Tech from IIT Delhi,
he served the Indian Navy and Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO)
for 21 years since 1980 and shifted to the education field in the year 2001. He founded
Sri Venkateswara Educational and Charitable Trust with a vision to impart world class
education to Indian children. He modeled SVCCAM after visiting some of the best institutes
in Singapore and Europe and nurtures a vision of making it a world class institute.
