Esoteric means "Intelligible only to those with special knowledge". Esoteric 2010 was held on 22/02/10 to celebrate the first anniversary of the MCA Club. Mr.N.Nandhgopal, Project manager, Cognizant Technology solution, Coimbatore was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address he brought cheers, to the MCA students as the IT sector was booming once again. Skills always complemented knowledge hence is the essence for success in any field is what he stressed.
The Chairman was very excited and emotional. He expressed his affection to the III MCA and he fondly addressed them as my "Chella Pillai’s" as they are the first batch of the college. In a befitting manner the honor of cutting the cake on the occasion of first anniversary of Esoteric was given to Miss.Sowdambikai, the first student to be admitted to the college. The office bearers who have the task scaling greater heights were introduced to the audience.
Mrs.N.Subha, the HOD of MCA department and Mr.R. Siva Kumar who are the pillars of the of the MCA Department and the first among equals shared their experiences .The Magazine ESOTERIC was released by the Chief Guest and a soft copy of the same was handed over by Lec.M. Manimaran to Prof R Prabusankar, HOD of SVIITM.Dr. Ashraf,the CEO graced the occasion with his felicitation address.
The top performers and achievers of the Department were felicitated by the Chief Guest and the Chairman. The function was grand success, and in short could be termed as "Down the Memory Lane"
