Castalia 2017 is a National Level Management festival for both PG and UG students. Here are the details of the events that took place. We hosted a corporate fashion show, ‘FASHIONISTA’ with 6-8 per team. Students displayed fashionable professional looks. Treasure hunt event ‘PIRATES GOLD’ took place with 4 participants per team and 2 teams per college. Best photography was showcased through an event called ‘KLICKS’ with 1 team per college and 2 members per team. All the snaps were taken on campus with spot instructions to the participants. The event ‘TALENT SCAN’ comprised of Music, Arts & Dance. ‘VENDITA ALLASTA’ is an auction event with 2-4 participants per team A short film ‘CURTAIN RAISER’ was performed with 2 members per team on topics of Social Awareness, Friendship and Comedy. Best manager event called ‘EL-REY’ featured leadership skills of the teams followed by the best management team event called ‘TUNES OF GLORY’ with 3 participants per team showcased the importance of team spirit. Best marketing team event ‘TRZENJE’ with 3 participants per team and best face team ‘RAHOITTAA’ with 3-4 participants per team respectively taught students marketing and finance skills. An hr game was organised called ‘HUMANAEOPES’ with 3-4 participants per team and last but not the least, best logistic team ‘HOUQIN RUBUS’ took place with 4 members per team. Participation Certificates were issued to all the participants after all the event.

Technical Quiz with questions based on Current Affairs in Information Technology, Computer Science, and Software Products, programming languages, Networking. This was followed by the Best Innovators event and Web Designing. Topics for the paper presentation were,

WEB DESIGNING was organised with a team with a maximum of 2 members and two teams per college with permitted tools like Dreamweaver, Notepad++, Adobe Photoshop. The evaluation was done on the basis of Creativity, Design, Layout, Functionality of website/web pages. The event had three rounds, details are listed below:

Round 1: Prelims.
Round 2: Debugging the website.
Round 3: Design a website.

CODE CRACK event had criteria of three teams from a college. and two members for each team. Total of three rounds was conducted.

Round-1: Prelims Consists of Algorithm based objective type questions (All Computer Oriented Languages).
Round-2: Debugging (Objective type questions).
Round-3: Write the code for a given output.

Best innovators events comprised of one team from a college with a maximum of 4 Participants and a minimum of 2 participants per team. This event took place in 2 Rounds.

Round -2: Best Innovator

Students were asked to present their own innovative idea or solution to a real-world problem with models, power point presentation. Problem was presented to them on the spot.
