The state of Goa is a tropical paradise located on the west coast of India. It is unique from the rest of India because of its history, geography and culture. It has a well maintained infrastructure and a growing service and IT Sector.
Our students of Sri Venkateswara College planned an Industrial visit to the coastal Cities in Goa and Karnataka. They got an opportunity to visit the institute of oceanology and witness the programs and the learnt of the applications of IT in Oceanography. They had a good experience to enhance their Leadership traits by this programme.
Nestling on the shores of Arabian Sea, Mangalore is another beautiful city of Karnataka. Much known for its educational institutions, temples and shrines the city is also an abode of famous Mangaladevi Temple, Kadri Temple and Lord Krishna Temple.
To experience the divine touch of these temples our students visited the Lord Krishna Temple.

Explore! Explore and Explore is the credo at Sri Venkateswara. In spite of the hectic schedule of Anna University, our MBA students were sent on Industrial visit cum sight seeing trip. Where? “To the foot hills of Himalayas “En route they stopped at had a glimpse of India’s pride and one of the wonders of the world –“THE TAJ MAHAL”. Our students set their foot in National Capital Region.-New Delhi. From the capital they undertook a 16 hours of travel to one of the most beautiful hill station Kulu and Manali . Finally they returned home via the IT capital Bangalore. Few of the students have given their first hand experience in our blog. The entire trip was planned, organized and executed by the student’s themselves. This experience which will go long way and help them in the corporate world.
