As a prelude to bridge the gap in the journey from Campus to Corporate, the Students Management Associations of Sri Venkateswara group of institutions has initiated a knowledge enrichment process. A series of special lectures by eminent Industrialists and corporate heads in various topics is organized every week. The aim of this series is to enable the students to interact and get a first hand in formation towards corporate India Inc.
Mr. K Thangaraj are addressed the students on "Avenues in Banking Finance and Insurance Sector". He dwelt on the opportunities in the BFI Sector and what are the skill sets to be developed by them. He also briefly mentioned on recession and how India sailed through successfully during the global-financial crisis.
At the end of the lecture the Chairman made a surprise announcement of instituting two prizes for :-
1. The most interactive participant.
2. The best question from the audience.
Mr. Suresh Kumar S and Mr. Alex Pandian of II MBA walked away with the interactive and best questioner of the day prize, respectively.
