Senior delegates across the globe have assembled for COP 15, COPENHAGEN UNITED NATIONS CLIMATE CHANGE CONFERENCE, 2009 at the capital city of Denmark. The aim is to formulate a comprehensive and a global agreement that later will be converted into an internationally binding treaty. The world has a chance to come together as a true global community to take decisive measures needed to change its course.
We at Venkateswara decided to follow the conference, discuss, debate and contribute in our own way to save MOTHER EARTH. As a prelude we invited Mr. U.K. Ananathapadmanbhan, President of KMCH and CMA, a renowned personality to address the students on Energy Crisis.
Mr. UK Ananathapadmanbhan, an Electrical Engineer has also a PG in Business Management and Hospital Management to his credentials and extensive experience across the Globe. He emphasized on how to conserve Energy, to offset the energy crisis. One was anguished to learn that almost 50% of the energy generated was lost in transmission, pilferage and wastage. The various methods, devices, green technologies and innovations that are available to ensure optimum utilization of energy was highlighted. The lecture ended with a quote,

"BUT MAN BELONGS TO NATURE"
We the Venkateswaraite’s are optimistic that the conference at Copenhagen will undoubtedly culminate as Hopenhagen and subscribe to the view of Paul Krugman, that
"A deal would save the planet at a price we can easily afford and it would actually help us in our current economic predicament".
