Hundreds of executives have succeeded without an MBA degree but none without M-anas, B-uddhi and A-tmasakti. Sri Venkateswara Group of Institutions strongly believes in this philosophy and thus committed to its actions to train, nurture and develop the future leaders for India Inc. “Castalia”, a program conducted every year by the institute, which provides platform to all management students and students from allied disciplines to showcase their cognitive, analytical, problem solving and different social skills.

In its portfolio in 2011, Castalia had organized several creative and innovative activities under the heads of Product Lunch, Finance Event, HR Event, Best Management Team, Best Manager, Business Quizz and Corporate Fashion Parade. An over whelming response was received from more than fifty colleges from and outside Tamil Nadu. Finally 408 students from 35 colleges participated in the events. Anna University of Coimbatore emerged as overall winner and won the rolling trophy. Mr. L.R. Venkita Krishnan, Deputy Vice President, Axis Bank, Palakkad, was the Chief Guest of the program.
