INAUGRATION OF BUSINESS LINE CLUB

The BL Club was inaugurated on 11th February amidst great fanfare and Celebrities. It was a memorable day for students as the Club members managed to bring three eminent personalities for the functions. It was indeed a festival of knowledge and learning.
Mr. VR Muthu,CEO of V. V. V. & Sons Edible Oils,Ltd.( Idhayam oil) was the Chief Guest and our Chairman was in attendance. He addressed the students and explained his road to success. Innovation is the need of the hour in any business is the way he commenced his speech and went to elaborate as to how he picked up an idea from the last page of the Business Line which helped him to increase his turn over from lakh to crores. Bad teeth = Bad heart – suggested an American heart association. These were the lines in BL that ignited his mind and sowed the concept for his companies strategy OIL PULLING .Today oil pulling is become a way of life for many. It is also strange but true, that we tend to believe what the foreigner says but ignore the ideas which originate at home.
Indian’s are very religious by nature .Any one who transforms it into a way of life will definitely succeed. The same yardstick applies in business too. He gave his own principles to be adhered for success in business.
Business is my religion
Work place is my temple
Customer is my god
Profit is my Prasad.
With those words of wisdom from his experience, he closed his speech.
Mr. Premanand, RGM of the Hindu, was extremely delighted and happy to see total involvement of the Management, staff and the students in the club activities. He assured us providing the necessary corporate interface from his pool of speakers.
The Business Line Club Secretary also spelt the aim and objective of the Club. The students from the I&II MBA were assigned various portfolio’s and charter of duties. The various topics covered by the BL and different days were highlighted by the Secretary and as to how it would enrich the students in their management program . The Club members’ bubbling with ideas and are confident of organizing interesting events in the days to come.
The Chairman who was one of the main architects in the formation of this club was pleased with the function and assured us of all the necessary financial and administrative support for the BL Club activities
